After the success of their most recent album, Gorillaz has launched a game for the iPhone/iPad called "Escape to Plastic Beach." The band, who once hid behind cartoon personas, now lets you escape into their Plastic Beach world as the character Murdoc to fight and overcome obstacles -- all while listening to Gorillaz tunes in the background. Sappiamo bene quanto la componente multimediale sia importante nel progetto Gorillaz . Non solo per la presenza di Jamie Hewlett che ha da subito inventato il mondo a fumetti della fantomatica band, ma anche per una serie di esperimenti realizzati sfruttando il web in modo intelligente e assicurando una grande interazione tra pubblico e gruppo. Gorillaz have released their very own video game app for the iPhone and iPad . The app, entitled ' Escape to Plastic Beach ', is a 3D action game in which Murdoc fights above Plastic Beach headquarters on his Doom Glider to foil 2D ’s repeated escape attempts. The game features eight levels with a mix of hazards and obstacles to overcome. The game also features music and voice-overs from the band themselves.
