After finishing up their stint on the multi-act "True Colors" tour (with Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry, The Gossip, and Dresden Dolls) in support of the Human Rights Campaign , Erasure has scheduled their own headlining tour culminating with a date on August 3 at McCarren Park Pool. I've seen these guys a bunch of times live, and it's always a ball...a far cry from back in the day when Vince Clarke would walk out on stage with Yaz , light a smoke, push a MIDI trigger button, and wait for Alison Moyet to finish singing... Any new album from Erasure is a good thing, but Clarke and Bell's newest offering will leave you feeling their hearts weren't really in this one.
