Al fin está aquí el tan esperado primer sencillo del nuevo álbum de Oasis , Dig Out Your Soul . Este viernes pasado (15 de agosto), se estrenó en diferentes estaciones de radio alrededor del mundo "The Shock Of The Lightning" que, indudablemente tiene la fuerza para ser un primer sencillo pero que sigue sonando a lo mismo. Oasis come back hard here with the first single "Shock Of The Lightning", off new album Dig Out Your Soul. The song doesn't waste anytime getting started and is quite immidiate. The brothers claim that it will be immidiate because it was recorded right off the bat. I don't think it is amazing Oasis by any means, but at this stage for them, it is not bad at all. "Love is a magical mystery." Ya know, like the tour . Just when it looked like Oasis were pulling off from extracting £s of flesh from the Beatles back catalogue, they're not. The Noel-fronted, moody and swirly first cut from Dig Out Your Own Soul , "Falling Down," earned some surprised and begrudging kudos (and some unsurprised and unsurprising blog lashings), but there's little shock to "Shock The Lightning": it sounds like Oasis.
