The Go Find, the indietronica project of Belgian native Dieter Sermeus, will release its second album Stars on the Wall next Tuesday. It's been 3 years since the debut of Miami and Sermeus has added a few new touches to his sound (like check out the banjo on "Monday Morning") and toned down some of the electronica aspects. Go Find (a.k.a. Dieter Sermeus) is set to release sophomore effort Stars on the Wall March 30 via Morr Music. The video for "New Year" sees Sermeus playing the role of E.T. jackin' pizza boy/pixie dusting casanova. All while wearing a motorcycle helmet. Yes, this is a little weird. The song is the kind of melancholic lap-pop you'd expect from a Morr release, but that's hardly a bad thing.
Dietur Sermeus is a few weeks from the release of his follow-up to the Stereogum beloved Miami, this time working with his live band to craft an album with a little less electronica but every bit the melancholic hook crafting....
