Extending their South by Southwest visit, Arcade Fire 's Win Butler, Will Butler, Régine Chassagne and Marike Anthony-Shaw paid a visit to the University of Texas in Austin on Monday night to put on a lecture discussing the socio-economic crisis in Haiti. Recounting their volunteer efforts in Haiti, the band members urged students to participate in relief efforts. During the lecture, they also performed acoustic renditions of "Haiti" and "Wake Up," of which you can watch above (via ArcadeFireTube ).

Win Butler is the lead singer of the Arcade Fire , but more importantly, he is the #2 MOST WANTED INDIE TERRORIST IN THE WORLD right behind M.I.A. because he h8s America so much . Win, Will, Régine, and Marika stuck around in Austin for a post-SXSW lecture at the University of Texas on Monday night. According to RollingStone.com , the Arcade Fire members used the appearance to discuss Haiti's current socio-economic crisis and to urge students to get involved with relief efforts. They also performed acoustic versions of two songs, "Haiti" and "Wake Up", as ArcadeFireTube points out. Watch footage of the performance below.
