Mott The Hoople Reunite, Probably Will Never Play Near My House [The Golden Age Of Rock 'n' Roll (redux)] The golden age of Mott the Hoople was short-lived (three studio albums) and the band's name was largely dragged through the mud by the post-Ian Hunter era, but despite any reasonable reservations I probably should have, an item on the band's getting back together is about as big as non-Coachella-related news gets for me.
