![DEATH CAB, SUFJAN STEVENS, LYKKE LI [SUGGESTED NYC CONCERTS]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3607845_lg.jpg)
Be excited because this week might just be the best week of indie concerts in New York City in recent history. Not only is Death Cab for Cutie playing Williamsburg Waterfront, but Sufjan Stevens has two dates at Prospect Park, Lykke Li is playing Central Park, and we're putting on a show for Body Language and Port St. Willow (featuring Peter Silberman of The Antlers ) at Cameo Gallery . It's going to be an amazing week. Go see some music! [...]

Tweet Death Cab For Cutie divide opinion amongst my pals. In many ways, you could say I'm writing this just to annoy some of them. But whatever they say, I will always love them. Death Cab, I mean. I've been trying to work out whether I'm pleased or disappointed with You Are A Tourist , the first single from Death Cab's new Codes and Keys LP. I'm a bit concerned by the cute introduction, but I do like that guitar [...]

Hey, its the new Death Cab Video. Enjoy!

In this week's paper, I talked to Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie about politics. You can read that article here , but below are some outtakes of us discussing political bands and the protest song and its function in the age of mass media and the Internet. Don't forget, Death Cab is at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Monday night with Fleet Foxes opening! Tickets are still available. Annie Zaleski: [...]
Ok so, we haven't got a new Postal Service album since Give Up , or any Postal Service material for that matter. But 2008 did bring us new Dntel and new Death Cab for Cutie. We'll just have to take that. The new DCFC album Narrow Stairs has one of my favourite album covers this year, and the music itself isn't too bad either. 'Cath' and 'Long Division' are among the band's finest songs. Nothing for me will touch The Photo Album though, not even Transatlanticism . Death Cab bring [...]
"Cath" is one of my favorite tracks of Death Cab for Cutie's Narrow Stairs, as it adds some newfound muscle to the band's usual tales of woe and heartache. The just released video caught my eye today not for its...
So I came in to work this morning and right away watched the new video for "Cath...," the second single from Death Cab For Cutie 's rather phenomenal Narrow Stairs . Let me tell you - I haven't seen a video in, well, I honestly can't recollect the last time I saw a video that just acted out a song word for word, moment for moment. While the band is sitting and reciting the tale from their grassy knoll of a dressing room, the [...]
The latest single from Death Cab For Cutie's album Narrow Stairs is for the track "Cath..." and is now out on the interwebs. The clip shows a bride and groom about to get hitched, but all is not well during the wedding day. The bride has an ex boy toy sitting in the back, hoping that she will change her mind after swapping spit for a few moments before saying "I do." The groom should have whipped out a can of whoop ass on that guy. Wuss. "Cath..." [...]
Ehh...sorry about that requisite pun. Video of the Day: "Cath..." - Death Cab for Cutie
Video: Death Cab for Cutie "Cath..."
death cab for cutie - cath [ link 2 ] [i have more than a few friends who are totally enamoured with death cab's current album narrow stairs , but i have yet to latch on to any of their songs for my playlist. but for those of you who love this ben gibbard penned track, enjoy!] http://feeds.feedburner.com/Wo ngiesMusicWorld
Death Cab for Cutie has posted their video for the song "Cath." You can check out the video by clicking Read More . "Cath" is featured on the bands Atlantic Records release Narrow Stairs .
Death Cab For Cutie's "Cath..." video is now out. One of the marquee songs off of their Narrow Stairs album, to me " Cath... " personally works well without any video. Unlike many videos out there DCFC match the lyrics of the song with what was in the video. I can't say enough how much this group amazes me at their every turn. Enjoy, and if you haven't picked up the album, jump on it. That guy in the back of the [...]

i really enjoyed watching this video. i love it when either a song or a video tells a story, and i especially love it when they correspond the way they do in this one. with as much music as i listen to, unfortunately a lot of times i really miss a lot of what is going on in a song. i love to give a song, no an album, my undivided attention. some people think it is weird, but i love to curl up on the couch or go for a walk with nothing on my [...]

As far as I'm concerned, Death Cab 's new album Narrow Stairs is the most important indie release of the year, so I'm compelled to share this new video with you. Despite the album's relatively upbeat vibe, they've chosen the melancholy "Cath..." as their second single, giving it the appropriate "heart break at the alter" treatment. Poor Lukas Haas...
