As part of the band's forthcoming 21 date tour, Sunny Day Real Estate will be performing at Minneapolis' First Avenue September 23.

After much speculation over whether or not they would join the many bands from the '90s reuniting this year (fueled by lead singer Jeremy Enigk telling a Seattle rock station that the band had gotten together in March ), alt-rock legends Sunny Day Real Estate have decided to get back together to play their first concerts since 2000. It's been a slow start to the week, I must admit. At least we've finally reached the halfway point and can see the weekend hanging out on the horizon. Just a couple more days...so close, so far away.
