First off, this song is just dope. I can't say I'm too familiar with MSTRKRFT (Master Kraft), but I will say I'm impressed. John Legend on the vocals is always a winning move, and he kills it as usual. Now that we got that covered, the video might be even cleaner. Vincent Haycock directed this one perfectly, coloring a fun and lighthearted storyline with some gorgeous cinematography. Apparently this isn't the official video, but it needs to be. This one is so necessary.

I've never really been completely taken by MSTRKRAFT or John Legend. I've liked what they did musically in theory, but I've never been able to truly enjoy one of their tracks. (I also always thought the golden hockey masks kinda creepy.) So my surprise at their collaboration was big, but my expectations weren't very high. This is definitely not the best song out of the album, but leading the single by John Legend probably helps on the marketing side. Check out the official music video for John Legend's song as remixed by MSTRKRFT MSTRKRFT's "Heartbreaker" featuring John Legend. I suppose all of this mini-mart madness is interesting enough to distract me from the mediocrity of the song as a whole.
