This week, a new album from Seun Kuti, the son of afrobeat star Fela Kuti. Seun is writing and touring with his father's old band, Egypt 80, and the results are catchy and energetic. We've also got some experimental pop from Icy Demons' third album, Miami Ice. The Philadelphia quintet's latest LP has just been released in the states, and it's nothing short of an bountiful buffet of experimental pop songs. Here's the appropriately disorienting new video for Paavoharju 's " Kirkonväki ," taken from their stunning -- and in truth, kind of scary -- new Laulu Laakson Kukista LP.
