Another Summer favorite comes by way of Partie Traumatic , the new album from Jacksonville's Black Kids . So much to enjoy here with the metaphorical top down. As I've listened to this album many times at this point, Black Kids surely have something of their own to offer and you will want to dance. Partie Traumatic is one of the most eagerly anticipated debut albums in indie rock in recent memory. Jacksonville, FL's Black Kids made a HUGE splash on the internet last year with their EP Wizard of Ahhs and the single "I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You". The Black Kids continue their rapid rise to the top, announcing headlining dates in preparation for their debut LP Partie Traumatic . The Black kids have been leaving a mark on the music scene since the release of their single, "I'm not going to teach your boy friend how to dance" (log title); since then I've been waiting the release of their new release "Hurricane Jane" do out on June 23. Just like their last single it didn't take long for this unreleased single to be remixed; even better the person who remixed it is the Brazilian duo the Twelves, and like with their previews single the Twelves did an amazing reinterpretation of this song. http://www.myspace.com/blackki dsrock [...]
