Married couple Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore of vintage nautical pop band Tennis dropped by WNYC's Soundcheck to perform "South Carolina," an easy favorite. We actually saw Tennis perform at Bell House two weeks ago and they were absolutely lovely, losing none of that dreamy element in a live setting. Alaina's voice is irresistibly pretty and the two are a match made in heaven. Swoon !! Technorati Tags: Tennis
In case you were wondering if Tennis sound exactly the same live as they do on record, here's your resounding yes: The band recently played on WNYC's Soundcheck, performing the beautiful "South Carolina" exactly as it is on record. There's something charming in how on point this band is, just recreating its delicate sound perfectly. Tennis' Cape Dory is out now. [ A Heart is a Spade ]
