The solo EP from one of Grizzly Bear’s songwriters is by no means a disappointment.

Space within a song can be an artists' strongest tool.  In the case of "Saint Nothing" by Grizzly Bear member, Daniel Rossen, space is no doubt a crucial element in creating the holy atmosphere that rides atop the floating piano progression.  More so than spacing between instruments, Daniel Rossen is able to somehow sonically recreate a physical space through the detail of each instrument.  Listen to the slow decaying reverb of each piano chord as it drifts around the open room.  Pay attention to warm wind undertones that act more so  as a smoky foundation than any sort of distinct [...]
