The video to Peter Bjorn and John's "Second Chance" from their upcoming release Gimme Some (out March 29th) is out. While singing "you can't get a second chance" everything in the video plays out in reverse. There's paint, there's streamers, there's balloons... it's a fun, messy time. In real life there are no do-overs but in music videos you can go back in time. Unfair? Maybe. Entertaining to watch? Yes.

Peter Bjorn & John are a interesting trio of indie rockers hailing from Sweden. They have gained notoriety a few years back and have since been many music lovers go-to indie band. Now on the verge of releasing their sixth album, Gimme Some, they have approached the music a little differently. Peter, Bjorn and John had claimed that they were kicking it oldschool for their forthcoming Gimme Some , ditching the experimentalism and sticking to guitar, bass and drums, and it seems they're following the same aesthetic for their music videos. After the whirlwind clip for “ Breaker Breaker ,” which if you watch in slow motion simply depicts the trio playing the song on stage, the Swedish rock band have put out a more entertaining video for their next single, “ Second Chance :” now they're covered in dirt, wearing weird painted on masks, and there's all [...]

Those lovable Swedes Peter Bjorn and John have a new video for 'Second Chance', a track from their forthcoming album 'Gimme Some' that will be coming along next month. This is one of those delightfully non sequitur videos. Except that I can't help but think of the unfortunate Kings of Leon pigeon poop incident last summer in St. Louis.
