
When I think about the most "American" artists - whatever that means - my consideration often gravitates toward authors like William Faulkner, whose emotional prose shaded a number of complex feelings in all of their bluntness, and photographers like William Eggleston, whose photography truly captured the decay of traditionalism and the prevalence of Southern melancholy. If you were looking for some good lo-fi music to throw on your headphones then look no further. The fuzzed out sounds of Dead Gaze have been flowing through my earphones all day and I'm already obsessed with their sound, keeping in mind that lo-fi is not exactly my cup of tea. Any day now Dead Gaze are bound to drop a new single, an album, something new to chew on. At least I really hope so! Because let's face it, when it comes to the internet, or communication in general, Dead Gaze aren't too bothered.
