Many other Londoners aren't. Perhaps Delphic 's stupendous electro-pop Olympic anthem, 'Good Life', will shake the naysayers into suitable euphoria. The 2012 London Olympic Games are ready to rock. The five official songs for the Summer games include: "Survival" by Muse, "Good Life" by Delphic, "Velodrome" by The Chemical Brothers, "Good Morning To The Night" by Elton John & Pnau, and "Scream" by Dizzee Rascal . In addition, a two thousand song library has been compiled with different themes for different sports including: energy, prime-time, extreme, heritage and world stage. The launch of Rock The Games has also been announced, with surprise concerts taking place in various venues around the city. [...]

Delphic burst onto the greater music scene at the end of 2009 when they were selected as part of BBC Sound of 2010. Delphic captured my ear instantly with an unbelievable sound. It mixed sometimes dark, but always incredibly euphoric electronica with powerful indie rock, and captivating vocals, their debut album was really something amazing and still a favorite today. Ladies and Gents,  Delphic have come back and have crafted one of the most good-time singles of the year. “Good Life” is soaring full of meaningful life and an undeniable mission to make everyone in your town/city/country dance until they can’t no more. Sure this is more poppy than anything off of Acolyte , but you can’t say this is really too far away from their synth pop sound. Just a bit more happy. British indie rockers Delphic have made us wait anxiously for their new track, but here it is... at last! For fans of their debut,  Acolyte,  you won't be dissapointed - it's dancy, has great harmonies, a wicked guitar track and an epic synth solo! "Good Life", joins Muse's "Survival" as a song featured during the Official 2012 London Olympics.   Hopefully this dynamic trio have another album for us in the very near future!

Manchester three piece Delphic are back with a new single. 'Good Times' is out on 23rd July and it has been confirmed the track will be on the bands second album due out later this year. The follow up to 2010's debut Acolyte is yet to be given a title, but we do know that Bombay Bicycle Club producer Ben Allen has worked on this new single, while Massive Attack and LCD Soundsystem producer Tim Goldsworthy has been brought in to the album’s staff. Two years on and they're back with new single 'Good Life' - which is also an official Olympic song - and a new album, which is set to follow later in the year.

Delphic are finally ready to unveil the first piece of new material from their, as yet unnamed, second album - 'Good Life' was actually on the short-list for the new Olympics song but narrowly missed out to some band called Muse. Showcasing a slightly re-jigged sound the new album has been produced by DFA's Tim Goldworthy and see's the Manc trio endeavour to create an even more complex tapestry of influences. Thankfully, like their classics from 'Acolyte,' 'Good Life' is full of rapturous chorus', rasping synths which complement the vocals rather than overpower them. And especially [...]
