Wonderful UK band Evans The Death 's self-titled debut album is coming out Tuesday May, 1st on Slumberland Records (Fortuna Pop! in the UK). Named after the undertaker in Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood, Evans the Death comprise of Dan Moss (guitar, vocals), Katherine Whitaker (vocals, keys), Olly Moss (guitar), Rob Mitson (drums), and newest member Lan McCardle (bass) – original guitarist Matt Gill having left the band following the completion of the album. Proving once again to the be best label for Indie Pop Rock bands, Slumberland Records will release the debut album from Evans the Death in April. The band is comprised of Dan Moss (guitar, vocals), Katherine Whitaker (vocals, keys), Olly Moss (guitar), Rob Mitson (drums), and newest member Lan McCardle (bass) - original guitarist Matt Gill having left the band following the completion of the album and takes its name from Welsh poet Dylan Thomas' radio drama Under Milk Wood . But the five-piece didn't focus on any one particular sound throughout the twelve track debut, so the vibe of one song might not be the vibe of [...]

Il mio prossimo personale hype infuocato: Evans The Death , da South London, stanno per pubblicare il 7'' d'esordio su Fortuna POP . Al primo ascolto mi è tornata in mente quella frenesia che trovavo nelle primissime cose dei Long Blondes, ma dicono le recensioni che dal vivo siano essere anche più Pavementiani e ruvico. Vedremo, intanto questa I'm so unclean non me la levo dalla testa.
