Last month, The Gorillaz , Andre 3000 of Outkast and James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem released a new track that also features it's own exclusive Chuck Taylor from Converse . We posted on the track earlier, but we are a little behind on the video. Either way we couldn't resist sharing with you in case you haven't seen it. The bizarre 3D/2D cartoon is something you would expect from the Gorillaz, and is totally worth the 6 minutes you'll spend watching it.

It seems Damon Albarn , Andre 3000 and James Murphy are indeed, doing their "thanga thang" with this new video for their recent song, "DoYaThing" . Collaborating with Converse, the video was directed by fellow Gorillaz in crime, Jamie Hewlett , which finely intertwines CG animation and "real life" footage, taking you through a house where the band lives (depicted as monster-like humans). Aside from subtle product placements (notice the Gorillaz Converse shoe?), the video is an entertaining return to Gorillaz animation.

A successful idea which has lead to a very successful track and now one successful video featuring some incredible animation. This week's top videos come from Grimes, Bear In Heaven, Chairlift, Gorillaz and Nite Jewel. It was really tough picking just five videos from the brilliant selection unveiled this week, which is always great to see. Converse hooks up with Gorillaz to celebrate their 10 year anniversary and release a limited edition Chuck Taylor Gorillaz collection designed by Jamie Hewlett which look pretty dope. To celebrate the new union they released an insane 13 minute track featuring James Murphy and Andre 3000 and a trimmed down 4 minute version with a video to accompany it. Gorillaz have released a new CG animated video to go along with their Converse-curated collaboration, "DoYaThing." The video is pretty much an average morning for the animated band's front man 2D. Every inch of this video has hidden visual gems that reference the band's bizarre reality. It also features a masked man popping up in random areas meant to resemble Andre 3000. The scene where he is introduced he is having his sweat collected for some fantastically weird unknown reason.  You’ll definitely want to watch it more than once just to see all the bizarre artwork and references hidden within [...]

So just a week after giving you the latest Converse collab song ( Gorillaz , James Murphy , Andre 3000 ) the animated/live-action video is now out.
