Video: nine Black Alps In the studio

I was wondering what happened to these guys? They were 2005's tribute to grunge. I actually liked their debut quite a bit, never saw them live, and then it seemed like they completely disappeared from British press. Anyway, the in-thing these days appears to be YouTube videos showing brief glimpses of a selection of songs from a new album. One of the more talked about UK bands back in '05 was easily Nine Black Alps. They swooped in, did a few tours in the US, gained some decent press and then seemed to vanish just as quickly as they appeared. So where did they go? We can't account for the entire two years since we caught them with The Cribs at NYC's Mercury Lounge, but we do know that the band has been working on their next full-length album in a Los Angeles recording studio.
