PJ Harveylta ilmestyy 14. syyskuuta kahdeksas studiolevy Shake England Shake . Avustajina ovat toimineet aikaisemminkin tukena olleet Flood , John Parish ja Mick Harvey . Edellisellä White Chalk -albumilla (2007) kitarat vaihtuivat onnistuneesti pianoon. Muutos näyttäisi jatkuvan uudellakin levyllä. Näytekappale Written On The Forehead on jotain aivan muuta kuin mihin Harveyn kohdalla on tottunut. Reggae -samplen ( Niney The Observer: Blood & Fire @ Spotify ) ja syntikoiden varassa huojuvasta ja vahvasti kaikua käyttävästä kappaleesta tulee mieleen äkkiseltään mieleen Primal Screamin Screamadelica ja Echo Dek -levyt. PJ Harvey tocou sem John Parish num festival e entre as suas canções que tem apresentado nos ultimos tempos, mostrou o que anda a compor. PJ Harvey apresentou-se a solo no festival britânico Camp Bestival no passado sábado e tocou duas canções novas: "The Last Living Rose" e "Let England Shake".
