Nomadic Firs ( twitter ) is the brainchild solo project of Ryan Boos who up until 2005 was a house DJ blaring out techno beats to the masses. Brooklyn indie pop duo Matt and Kim unveiled a brand new track today titled "Let's Go," which is the lead single from their forthcoming fourth LP Lightning . Matt & Kim are back with a new single 'Let's Go' which will be included on the duo's fourth full-length album Lightning which is set to be released in the fall. The video shows off Pat The Roc (World's Greatest Ballhandler) skills while Matt & Kim both look on in the background.

This fall the ever-fun duo Matt & Kim will be releasing their 4th studio album, Lightning, and "Let's Go" is the first taste we are getting from the band's follow-up to their 'MTIB-chart-topping', Sidewalks . "Let's Go" features the same catchy qualities you would find in most Matt & Kim songs, but takes a different approach. I'd say it is more reserved and tame than the likes of "Good Ol' Fashioned Nightmare" or "Block After Block" and the hook isn't as catchy as "Daylight", but the song leaves no doubt that another great album is on [...]

"Let's Go" is the first single from Matt & Kim's forthcoming album, Lightning, which is set to be released sometime this Fall. The song debut comes with an accompanied video that you can watch below and, you can grab the track over at iTunes now.

Say what you will about bands getting too popular for you to still like them. Matt & Kim are great, put on the most fun shows and are by all accounts generally nice people. They are even friends with PAT THE ROC, who demonstrates that extreme basketball dribbling is pretty cool. But if there is one thing to take away from this, it's that you NEVER, under NO circumstances EVER... fake the funk on a nasty dunk , never forget that... never.

Matt & Kim are gearing up to release their upcoming album Lightning to the masses this fall, and "Let's Go" is the first look we're getting at the new project. If you were into Sidewalks, then there's no way in hell you won't be into this. The same upbeat, summery vibe that they've been capturing for the last couple of years is fully evident on the new single. I don't think anyone expected anything different.
