Dopo 4 anni di tour e due album, il tempo libero degli ultimi mesi è stato usato per scrivere circa 30 nuovi pezzi ed entrare in studio per iniziare la registrazione del terzo album. Hanno fatto tutto con calma per ottenere un buon disco, gli 8 mesi passati a lavorare su "New York City" sono serviti per conferire all'album una propria identità, non semplicemente un follow up di "Talk To La Bomb" soprattutto per il ritmo frenetico con cui affrontarono la sua registrazione. Non hanno fatto nè i modelli nè tantomeno disegnato una capsule collection. Se il 2008 ha visto i Daft Punk animare la passerella di Louis Vuitton per la collezione SS 08, l'orgoglio francese si mostra in tutta la sua totalità anche durante lo show di presentazione della collezione SS 09 di Dior Homme. Kris Van Assche, infatti, ha affidato ai Justice la parte sonora della sfilata. A quanto sembra sta venendo decisamente bene. Wasn't sure I liked it at first but this video by The Presets for Talk Like That has really grown on me along with the song. Crazy chick (possibly on that coke diet ) dancing with still pictures of the band in the back - is actually pretty money after the second or third watch.
