To say that Ty Segall is a prolific writer is an understatement, in addition to what has been released previously by Segall he released three albums in 2012. He has been recording and making music since approximately 2008, where he has released music with The Epsilons, Party Fowl, Traditional Fools, with Mikal Cronin and has been involved with numerous other projects since then. Segall’s sound mixes elements of 60s Garage Rock, Punk and adds a dash of Grunge at times. Taking a look back at the three releases that Segall has been involved with in 2012 we [...]
Ty Segall and White Fence figure prominently on my growing list of favorite albums this year. White Fence, fronted by psychedelic guitarist/songwriter Tim Presley , released the first half of what will be a 29-song album called Family Perfume Vol. 1 & 2 last month. Segall, White Fence and Presley's [...]
About a week ago, this Ty Segall and White Fence collaboration in Room 205 hit Youtube, after the duo's single "I Am Not a Game" hit. Now the two have another live performance, in the same place, of the aforementioned "I Am Not a Game." Watch the single below and grab their album Hair April 24.

If you're a fan of psych/garage rock, then there's probably nothing I can say to get you more hyped about the Ty Segall and White Fence album Hair , to be released April 24 on Drag City . All the same, you're going to want to check out this video of Ty Segall and Tim Presley (a.k.a. White Fence) jamming Hair -track "Scissor People" in Room 205 . What: Ty Segall and White Fence deliver a truly blazing rendition of "I Am Not A Game" during a recent session in Room 205 . The pair's collaborative album, Hair , is due out April 24th via Drag City. Directed by: Room 205
First THIS 205 mind-blowing live video ...and now we have another video a week later. Their collaboration record "Hair" is one of the best albums of 2012 and after these videos, there isn't a question that I need to see them live together real soon. Start watching for the jam, stay for the guitar shredding with an old television.
