I stumbled across The Lumineers recently, whose music features mandolin and tambourine and just generally great music to listen to. The song “Ho Hey,” the single released off of their self-titled album which was released in April, features electricity surges in the Christmas lights every time the tambourine and foot stomp recur in the video. That kind of energy and drive just makes the music feel real.
